IMM 8,000 # to 20,000 # Elevator Boat Lifts

This is the heart of the larger I.M.M. Elevators. We designed this unique winch head to focus the lifting force of the cable directly up the track. Our competitors use one very long winder, this forces the cable to pull up at a tremendous angle, causing extreme wear, it also sacrifices a large amount of the lifting ability. On our winch head the upper cable winds to the right, and the lower winds to the left. This always insures the lifting force is centered on the track. This is very important on a large lift. This unit is used on 13,500#, 16,000# and 20,000# Elevators.

I.M.M. Aluminum and Stainless Steel Side Elevators are by far the industry leaders.The lifts are available with the drive and switch packages listed in the front of the brochure.The Pile Mount and the Base Mount are designed to apply the bulk of the load to the engineered track assembly. This minimizes the load exerted on the dock or seawall.

Below are two very nice installations. Note both lifts have been equipped with boarding platforms. The left platform is from I.M.M. the other was built by the contractor. A boarding platform should be part of every elevator installation.
